Home insurance prices up 21% as homeowners are left to deal with climate change, turbulent market



In 2022, U.S. insurers paid out $99 billion in claims due to natural disasters, making it the fifth most expensive year on record for insurance losses. To help pay for it all, insurance companies appear to be passing more of these costs onto customers than ever before.
