Wholesale used-vehicle prices increase in first half of September

Wholesale used-vehicle prices (on a mix-, mileage- and seasonally adjusted basis) increased 1.5% from August in the first 15 days of September. The midmonth Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index rose to 215.4, which was down 3.5% from the full month of September 2022. The seasonal adjustment assisted the increase.
