Athene Survey Finds Sandwich Generation's Retirement Plans Affected by Intergenerational Caregiving

A new survey conducted by Athene of the Sandwich Generation, defined as people aged 40-59 who provide financial or caregiving support to both adult children and elderly relatives, found that nearly three quarters (73%) of respondents have adjusted their retirement goals to support their adult children or aging relatives.
