Value-based care challenges reshaping home health

Medicare Advantage enrollment is increasing, as is the shift toward value-based care, creating some notable challenges for home health care agencies, according to the 2025 Post-Acute Care Industry Trend Report from Trella Health. MA enrollment increased 18.7 percentage points from 2017 to 2025, reaching over 55% as of February 2025, according to the report.
