Housing starts rallied in July

After a downcast June, the latest residential construction report from the U.S. Census Bureau reveals an impressive bounceback for builders. ingle-family figures rose as well, hitting a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 939,000, outpacing June's 883,000 and July 2024's 857,000. The NAHB, however, still sees major underlying issues despite July's surge.
