The new truth about townhomes

Townhomes are at a crossroads. In some markets, they remain an essential solution for affordable ownership. In others, they're becoming financially and logistically unworkable. Yet despite the headwinds, interest hasn't waned. In the New Home Trends Institute's latest survey of residential architects, designers and design-oriented builders, 61% of respondents said they worked on more townhome projects than the year before.
