Q3 remodeling sentiment ticks upward
The NAHB has released its NAHB/Westlake Royal Remodeling Market Index (RMI) for the third quarter of 2025, which revealed a slight uptick in sentiment compared to Q2's data. Major headwinds remain, according to respondents, including high material and labor costs and economic and political uncertainty. Though certain macro factors, such as the nation's aging housing stock (and aging population increasingly keen to age in place), is bolstering the remodeling forecast.
