More U.S. dentists than ever are killing themselves

In the U.S., suicide mortality was higher among dentists than the general population over the past 40 years, and it has climbed steadily for the last 25 years. The study was published in the Journal of the American Dental Association. Improving access to mental health services and reducing stigma may reduce the risk of suicide among dentists, the authors wrote.
