Instacart takes deep dive into pie, Thanksgiving's most popular dessert

Using purchase data from 2024, Instacart is serving up a look at which pies reigned supreme during Thanksgiving week, how seasonal pie shopping trends play out and the most uniquely popular pie in each state. Unsurprisingly, pumpkin pie reigned as the most popular Thanksgiving pie, with apple, pecan, sweet potato and cherry completing the top five.
