DTS AutoStage brings radio into the big data era
DTS AutoStage is giving radio a breakthrough moment by delivering large-scale, in-car listening data from more than six million connected vehicles across the U.S. For the first time, broadcasters can access stable, real-time insights across 250 markets—capturing actual in-vehicle listening behavior with massive sample sizes that far exceed traditional methods.
During an RAB live presentation, Juan Galdamez, senior director, broadcast strategy & business development, Xperi, provided an overview and steps broadcasters need to take to participate.
The platform's hybrid approach merges broadcast signals with a vehicle's IP connection, enabling robust metadata, richer user experiences and advanced measurement tools such as market rankers, daypart trends, heatmaps, out-of-market listening and music charts. Broadcasters participating in the BETA program can access these features for free.
