Volunteerism Has Recovered From Pandemic Low

A new Gallup poll shows that overall volunteerism and charitable giving in the U.S. have rebounded since the pandemic low, with 63% of adults reporting they volunteered their time and 76% saying they gave money to nonprofits in the past year—driven more by secular causes than religious ones.

As civic engagement returns toward historic norms, this renewed public participation signals growing audience receptivity to community-oriented messaging and partnership opportunities that align brands with social impact and purpose.
