71% of U.S. Homeowners Say Their Home Insurance Costs Have Gone Up
A large majority of U.S. homeowners (71%) say their home insurance premiums have increased in recent years, with many also reporting reduced coverage or higher deductibles as extreme weather events and rebuilding costs continue to pressure the insurance market.
These rising housing-related expenses are adding to broader affordability concerns, creating relevance for insurance, financial services, home improvement and real estate sectors that can help consumers manage risk, protect assets and navigate increasing ownership costs.
