How AI, Longevity Science and Personalization are Reshaping Aesthetic Trends



Beauty consumers are increasingly prioritizing long-term skin health over quick cosmetic fixes, with AI, longevity science and personalized consultations driving the next phase of aesthetic care. According to Perfect Corp.'s research, 84% of consumers say AI-generated treatment previews would increase their confidence in trying an aesthetic procedure, while 87% say they would increase trust in their provider. The report also highlights growing interest in age management, skin barrier health and natural-looking, minimally invasive treatments as consumers shift from "anti-aging" to proactive wellness and maintenance.

These evolving preferences reflect a broader movement toward personalized, science-backed wellness, creating opportunities for med spas, dermatologists, cosmetic practices, beauty retailers and skincare brands that can combine AI-driven consultations with individualized treatment plans focused on prevention, transparency and long-term results.
