Hear from our March RAB Superuser Group!



This month we are recognizing Sound Management LLC as the March 2026 RAB Superuser. The company, owned by Arthur Angotti—an RAB user himself—continues to take full advantage of the resources available through RAB. We asked the team a few questions about RAB and radio. Read on to hear their perspective.

Tell us about the sales team: Are they mostly senior radio sellers? Or do you have a mix of seasoned and new sellers?
The sales team is a mix of veterans and rookies. The rookies utilize RAB.com for sales training, idea generation and competitive analysis. The veterans use the site to refresh their skills, the co-op directory, copy ideas and new client ideas.

What are some of your favorite RAB resources or tools and why?
The ongoing education is extremely helpful as is the trove of copy and the co-op opportunities.

What advice does the team have for RAB members on how to navigate resources?
Dig deep into RAB.com. It is full of helpful knowledge and historical successes that can be used to increase current sales and get results for clients.

What are some of the team’s biggest successes so far this year and why?
We are seeing some of the legacy advertisers such as car dealerships come back to radio. We hope this trend continues.

What categories of business are strongest for Sound Management and why?
Sports sponsorships increased in 2025, and we are seeing medical spending pick up. Restaurants are struggling due to increased costs and staffing uncertainty.

What is the primary goal of the team for this year?
Stability and sales. We would like to see all of our current salespeople make it thought the year and show month-to-month sales growth.

(Finish the sentence) Radio Works because…
Radio works because it is live, local and targets specific audiences that are loyal to their stations! Advertisers can then target those specific demographics of listeners and help them make the decision to spend locally instead of online. Radio still has mass appeal which makes reaching a large audience with a high frequency possible. Radio works! We see it every day!
