NAR Existing-Home Sales Report Shows 1.7% Increase in February
Existing-home sales rose 1.7% in February to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of about 4.09 million, helped by slightly easing mortgage rates and modestly higher housing inventory, though sales remain below year-ago levels and affordability challenges persist.
Real estate professionals, mortgage lenders, homebuilders, moving companies, home improvement retailers, and insurance providers have an opportunity to connect with buyers and sellers preparing for the spring housing season as activity begins to pick up again.
