Women Show Stronger Employee Engagement Amid Higher Burnout
Full-time working women in the U.S. are more engaged and motivated than men—34% vs. 28%—but also experience significantly higher burnout, with nearly one in three reporting frequent exhaustion.
As high engagement increasingly coexists with elevated burnout, workforce dynamics are shifting toward a tension between sustained performance and capacity limits that influences long-term participation, advancement, and retention patterns.
