Where Do Americans Get Health Information, and What Do They Trust?

Most Americans continue to rely on healthcare providers for health information (85%), far more than any other source, while many also turn to peers with similar experiences (66%) and digital sources like social media (36%) and AI tools (22%), even as about half say it’s difficult to determine what information is accurate.

This fragmented and often confusing information landscape underscores the growing importance of credible, easy-to-understand messaging, creating relevance for healthcare, pharmaceutical and wellness brands that can build trust and clarity while helping consumers navigate conflicting information.
