How Discord Gamers Differ from General Gamers in the U.S.



Discord gamers skew younger, more male and significantly more engaged than general gamers, with higher shares identifying as core or hardcore players, spending more time on hobbies, favoring PC gaming (40% vs. 25%) and showing strong purchase intent across categories like dining (80%), electronics (77%) and travel (65%).

These behaviors highlight a highly active, digitally immersed audience with strong buying signals, creating momentum for categories like tech, dining, travel and entertainment that can tap into high-engagement communities where discovery, influence and purchase intent are closely connected.
