Does AI Know Your Station?

Consumers and businesses are increasingly turning to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity for answers and recommendations. But when someone asks AI about advertising in your market, does it know enough about your station to include you in the conversation?

RAB’s AI Visibility Toolkit can help stations improve the information AI systems can find, understand and associate with their brands. The toolkit makes it easier to add fresh, relevant content to your website in a format designed to help large language models identify, categorize and connect that information back to your station.

Using the tool is simple. Start with content you want to publish on your station website. It can be an article from THIS! Is Radio - The Blog, a sales or marketing article your team has created or other relevant content. Enter basic information about your station, then paste or upload the article. The tool reads the content, identifies information such as the title, author and publication date and creates the behind-the-scenes code needed to help AI systems recognize and understand the content. From there, simply download the completed HTML page or copy the page code and provide it to whoever manages your station website. No coding expertise required.

This isn't about posting just one article. Regularly adding useful, current content can help AI better understand who you are, what your station offers advertisers and the role you play in your community. As AI increasingly influences how people discover businesses and make decisions, the goal is simple: Make sure your station is known before it’s needed. Put RAB’s AI Visibility Toolkit to work and help AI get to know your station.
