AI Benefits At Work Unevenly Distributed

Artificial intelligence is helping employees work faster and more creatively, but its benefits are not reaching everyone equally. According to Gallup, 63% of employees who have used AI at work say it helps them complete tasks faster, while 56% report finding more creative solutions and 46% say it improves the quality of their work. However, only 28% of U.S. employees use AI at least weekly, with adoption significantly higher among college graduates (40%) than workers without a degree (17%). Regular AI users are also more likely to hold quality jobs, although the research does not establish that AI use causes better job quality.

The findings create opportunities for workforce training providers, community colleges, trade and technical schools, HR consultants, staffing firms, business technology companies and professional development organizations. Sellers can help these businesses reach employers looking to expand AI skills, improve productivity and ensure employees at different levels have access to training and tools that can help them succeed.
