Adobe: Online spending sets records for holiday, and for full year 2021



Online holiday sales hit a new record, fueled in part by higher prices on a wide range of goods. U.S. consumer spending online during the 2021 holiday season (Nov. 1- Dec. 31) grew 8.6% year-over-year to a record $204.5 billion, according to the Adobe Digital Economy Index. Consumer spending online for all of 2021 increased 9%, to a record $855 billion.
