In sales, we are always looking for the advertiser's hot button. We shape our recommendations around that interest or need. Clients buy from us when they see the match between their objective and our solution.
The hot button for many advertisers is social media marketing. According to eMarketer, in a report late last week, 9 out of 10 marketers will use social media marketing next year.
eMarketer estimates that next year, 88% of US marketers will use social media for marketing purposes, up from 87% in 2013. Though not all of these companies will buy paid advertising, they represent a base from which the social media companies can grow their ad business.
Develop your recommendations including your social offerings to get clients' attention.
